College Counselor - Experience : Géraldine Guillermin, co-founder and Head of School has more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, college counselor, and high school principal. Before OFALycée, Géraldine created Education & Conseil, LLC, an organization that helped French students abroad in their college application process in North America and Europe.
As a high school principal, Géraldine integrated the American section (OIB) of the French Baccalaureate, established her previous school as the only French Bac exam center in New England, led the French accreditation renewal process, managed multiple digital education projects, and mentored a graduate student from Harvard University, Graduate School of Education. Over the years, she has developed an expertise in the American and French educational systems in addition to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Her commitment to the development of French education and culture in the United States led to her being named Knight in the Order of the Academic Palms in 2016.
Géraldine is a graduate of the University of Lyon, France and the George Washington University, Washington DC. With OFALycée, Géraldine and her colleagues are implementing an innovative online pedagogical approach building on the best of both the French and American educational systems.
Géraldine also serves as the Director of Education & Academics of KidsProjects, an EdTech company that designed a project management platform developing soft skills in children at school or at home.
