Online French-American School – K-12 Academics
An evolving path from kindergarten to senior year
Academics at OFA Lycée are organized around two pedagogical pathways, designed to meet the diverse projects of French-speaking families worldwide. Each pathway is taught by certified teachers and shares the same framework: live classes in small groups of 4 to 8 students maximum, individualized follow-up, regular assessments, trimester report cards, and parent-teacher conferences.
➜The Éducation nationale pathway
Follows the official French national curriculum, identical to that of schools in France and French schools abroad (lycées français de l'étranger). It prepares students for the Brevet des collèges (Grade 9) and the French Baccalauréat (Grade 12), ensuring your child full equivalency if they return to the French school system. OFA Lycée is a member of ANEFE, the association uniting French schools abroad.
➜The OFA Lycée pathway
A pathway designed by our academic team, more flexible and personalized. It preserves the rigor of the French curriculum but adapts to each student's pace — ideal for students with atypical trajectories or international goals. This pathway can lead to the OFA Lycée Diploma, complemented by optional DELF/DALF certifications.
