Considering OFA Lycée for your child? We are the online French school welcoming students from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Every year, our team supports numerous French-speaking families around the world who want to preserve the continuity and excellence of a French education for their children.
Our admissions process is rigorous yet caring. It includes a personalized interview with our Director of Admissions, Gwen Dubois, a review of your child's academic records, and a focused assessment in French — and in Mathematics if that subject is part of the chosen track. No assessment is required in other subjects. The goal: to ensure that the pace, the pathway, and the program match your child's needs and your family's project.
OFA Lycée offers two distinct pathways, tailored to different family projects:
- ➜The Éducation nationale pathway — for students preparing the Brevet des collèges and the French Baccalauréat under the official French curriculum, with full equivalency if the family returns to France.
- ➜The OFA Lycée pathway — a more flexible path designed by our team, allowing students to follow an in-depth French education at their own pace, leading to the OFA Lycée Diploma with optional DELF/DALF certifications.
OFA Lycée is aligned with the French national curriculum, a member of ANEFE, and Cognia-accredited, an international benchmark for the quality of distance education.

Language requirements depend on grade level, the planned path, and any parallel school system. Language skills are assessed to ensure the student can follow their education under good conditions.
Mid-year entries
OFA Lycée accepts mid-year entries, subject to academic coherence, availability, and pedagogical feasibility. This flexibility is essential for international families.
